Ranking is determined by player rating! The system uses the rating points of the players and aims to draw up contested matches. You can win or lose a maximum of 32 rating points in one game.

When players of the same rank compete, they are expected to have an equal chance of winning. In this case, both gain or lose an identical number of points.  Example: if the rank of all players in a given game is the same, the maximum you can gain or lose is 16 points from your rating.

In the event that the system makes a game between less equal players, the higher ranked player is expected to have a greater chance of winning. In this situation, if the higher-ranked player loses, he loses more points and gains fewer points, since he played against an easier opponent. Conversely, if a lower-ranked player beats a higher-ranked player, they gain more points and lose fewer points because they played against a more difficult opponent.
