PLAYERS
In rummy all players play for themselves, there are no teams.

TURN ACTIONS
1. Drawing
  • A turn in Rummy starts with you drawing from one of 2 piles: The Deck or the Discard pile.

2. Melding or Laying off
  • When you click on a card in your hand, you select it to perform an action.
  • Picking 3 or more consecutive cards of the same suit allows you to Meld them. Melding is optional, and you don’t have to if you don’t want to or are unable to.
3. Discarding
  • At the end of your turn, you must discard a card. Then the turn passes to the next player. Please note that if you drew a card from the Discard pile this turn, you cannot discard that card.
  • The cards in your hand can be organized by either Suit or Face Value.
  • You can also Meld 3 or more cards of the same face value.
  • After you draw, you may also add any relevant cards in your hand to any of the Melds in play.
  • Keep in mind that the last card in your hand must be discarded at the end of your turn.

ROUND SCORE
The first player with no cards in hand after discarding is the winner of that round.

Points are awarded based on which cards are remaining in your opponents’ hands. Face cards are worth 10 points each, and number cards are worth their face value, with the Ace being worth 1 or 15 points, depending on if it’s Low or High.

Finally, the cards are shuffled, and a new round starts.

SESSION SCORE
The first player to hit 150 points is declared the winner of the game.
